Have you ever walked the length of an Apatosaurus or tilted your head so far back that you almost fell over just to see how tall a Tyrannosaurus Rex was?  Have you ever donned long red ears and pretended you were on one of the adventures of Clifford, the Big Red Dog?  Have you discovered moss growing on a tree or recognized deer and bird prints in the soft ground?  Well, the children of St. Catherine's Pre-school have these experiences.  We have been providing excellence in childhood development since 1987.

We offer programs for 3, 4 and Junior Kindergarten (5 pre-k) children.  Our children act out Bible stories, use tambourines to sing joyfully and learn prayers.  They attend church services developed just for them.  We provide a complete kindergarten readiness program approved by the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  Appropriate activities foster ”I can do that.”, “Let me help you.”,“Look at me put on my coat and zip it.”  By working together we solve the problem of what animals we will sell in our pet store and how we will take care of them.  Our fenced playground allows for running, sliding and swinging.  Special event days (making ice cream), field trips (riding the school bus) and quests (holding live birds) add to the enjoyment of our program.
