PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Friends,
Unlike all the other liturgical seasons in the Church, the Easter Season is the ultimate feast day, all the other seasons lead to it. Therefore, the Easter Season is not allocated in one Sunday or one week but rather is celebrated in seven weeks. It is the ultimate celebration of Jesus Resurrection and our salvation.
Keep the Easter Season alive in your heart and in your lives. Plan something for your spiritual journey each Sunday of Easter - a special prayer, a special remembrance of deceased family members or some other family prayer that will help keep the Resurrection alive in your hearts and lives.
Most of all, be at church and celebrate all seven Sundays of Easter.
                                                   Sincerely,
                                                   Fr. Regis

THANK YOU to all those who made our Easter Celebrations so prayerful and joy-filled: our Adult Choir, Adult Handbell Choir, Cantors, Instrumentalists, and Liturgical Ministers - Lectors, Altar Servers, Ushers and Eucharistic Ministers. Your service to your ministries is greatly appreciated.

                             Christina Giovannelli
                        Christina Sophia DeMarco
                             Paul Martin Wojnar

PAPAL QUOTE: “It is Jesus in fact that you seek when you dream of happiness; he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; he is the beauty to which you are so attached; it is he who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is he who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is he who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices. The choices that others try to stifle. It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be grounded down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” —Pope John Paul II
